Today at around 3.20pm Mandy and I drove to Sevenoaks Nature Reserve for a wander, armed with my Macro lens to see if anything of interest was about!
We had nearly a 2 hour walk and a fair size list of birds which was as follows:
GREAT TIT x 2 (in and out of nestbox feeding young)
LAPWING (lots of these were displaying)
COOT (with young)
LITTLE RINGED PLOVER x2
CANADA GEESE (with Goslings)
GREAT CRESTED GREBES
EGYPTIAN GEESE (with young)
KINGFISHER (good spot by Mandy)
CHIFFCHAFF (feeding young)
GOLDCREST (heard only)
BLACKCAP (male, another good spot by Mandy)
Canada Geese with Goslings
Pair of Canada Geese
I Appear to have lost my book which shows different plants, fungi etc so am unable to identify what your looking at!
