Bough Beech with Denis

This morning I drove to Bough Beech for a spot of birding with Denis, I did ask Dave but he was already out moling in Goudhurst. The water level at BB is well down at the moment and there appears to be a fence going up on the large side of the reservoir? Sheep were seen grazing where the water used to be and a couple of Deer were spotted drinking from the waters edge.
The days list is quite short as not much appeared to be about, what was is as follows:

GREY HERON
BLACK HEADED GULL
GREYLAG GEESE
CORMORANT
MALLARD
MAGPIE
TEAL
MOORHEN
PHEASANT
WOODPIGEON
CARRION CROW
CANADA GEESE
WIGEON
HERRING GULL
SNIPE
CHAFFINCH (HEARD ONLY)
GREEN WOODPECKER (HEARD ONLY)
ROBIN

BELOW ARE TWO PHOTOS SHOWING THE VERY LOW WATER LEVEL

If any of my fellow bloggers have a smart phone, I have an app which is superb, its called bird journal and cost £7.99 and also I purchased a PC version for £35.00 which is also very good and easy to use. The customer services are also very good as I have asked them a fair few questions and have had a very satisfactory reply every time.

Above is the link to the website, if you need the App go to the app store on phone.

Denis's New Moth Trap 1st Outing (not good)

I think we are correct in our IDing, the top one we think is a Square Spot Rustic? and the lower one a Flounced Rustic?
